When I was last at Yerington, they had a cafe open on the field and the biscuits and gravy were superb. The airport is at the north end of town and most people could easily walk to town. They had one nice full service casino. It is the county seat and has an interesting court house. I imagine that the runway is now open again, as they were using the taxiway when I was there about eighteen months ago. Everyone was very friendly and there was an avionics repair facility on the field.
